Annalicia Loveridge began playing the violin at the age of four. By age 11, she was performing in Jack Ashton’s Young Artists Chamber Program, and by 14, she was one of the youngest musicians welcomed into the Utah Youth Symphony Orchestra. Annalicia played in the first violin section for the next five years. Those years of rehearsing under the direction of Barbara Scowcroft at the University of Utah were fundamental in her inspiration and dedication to the art of fine music-making.
Annalicia actively competes in local and international competitions. Her most recent activities include her Carnegie Hall debut at the Weill Recital Hall (December 2023) where she performed the Brahms Piano Trio No. 3 in C Minor with Maren Daynes (piano) and Noah Guzmán (cello). She was the first place winner in the "College Students and Professional Musicians" category of the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition (2023). In addition to these competitions, Anna was the second place winner in the Charleston International Winter Chamber Music Competition (2023), and has been a finalist in the ASTA Chamber Music Competition (2021 & 2023) and the Utah Valley University Student Solo Competition (2022).
Annalicia had her international solo debut performance with the Vidin Symphony Orchestra at the International Musicians Academy in Vidin, Bulgaria in 2022, where she played the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor and Wieniawski Violin Concerto No. 2 in D Minor under the direction of Ovidiu Marinescu.
Annalicia's private instructors have included M. Judd Sheranian of the Utah Symphony, David Park, and Donna P. Fairbanks. In 2024, she graduated with her BA degree in Violin Performance from Utah Valley University, where she studied with Professor Donna Fairbanks.
