Kaitlin Booth is an active cellist and chamber musician from Eagle Mountain, Utah. She was 11 years old when she began studying the cello, advancing quickly as she fell in love with the cello's large range and deep, colorful tones.
While studying with renowned cellist and multi-style musician, Nicole Pinnell, Kaitlin’s love of the instrument and profound dedication grew, leading her to participate in ensembles such as the Utah All-State Orchestra, and perform in masterclasses with artists such as Steven Doane, Ka-Wai Yu, Tom Landschoot, and Hasse Borup.
Kaitlin has a strong background in classical music and has performed in venues such as Abravanel Hall, Eccles Concert Hall, Libby Gardner Concert Hall, Dumke Recital Hall, Noorda Center Concert Hall, Capitol Reef National Park, and the De Jong Concert Hall, as well as in venues across the United States, Dominican Republic, and Brazil. She made her international debut as a soloist with the Sinfonietta Vidin in July 2024, performing the Schumann Cello Concerto.
In addition to solo performances, Kaitlin has been featured as a multi-style cellist on a number of recordings for pop artists and composers in the Utah and Salt Lake County areas.
Kaitlin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cello Performance from Utah Valley University, where she had the privilege of studying under the tutelage of Cheung Chau and Walter Haman (2017-2021). She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in String Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Utah, where she studies with Pegsoon Whang.
In addition to performing with Artiva Strings, Kaitlin enjoys managing her teaching studio (thrivemusic.co) and running her online e-commerce business (wingmn.co). In her free time, you might find Kaitlin baking homemade sourdough bread, practicing yoga, or watching a good movie with her husband.
Rebecca's journey with the violin began at the tender age of three, under the guidance of Kathrine Kunz in Salt Lake City. By twelve, she was studying with University of Utah's esteemed professor, Dr. Hasse Borup, which further solidified her dedication to music.
Rebecca pursued her passion for violin performance at Utah Valley University, where she earned a full scholarship and a Bachelor of Arts degree. During her collegiate years, she received private instruction from Dr. Donna Fairbanks and Dr. Kasia Sokol-Borup. Rebecca's leadership and technical abilities gave her the opportunity to serve as concertmaster for both the Utah Valley University Chamber Orchestra and UVU Symphony under the direction of Dr. Cheung Chau.
In addition to her performance career, Rebecca has a deep commitment to music education. She began teaching at fourteen and now runs a thriving music studio with over fifty students, offering lessons in violin, piano, and viola.
Outside of music, Rebecca enjoys being outdoors, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.
Annalicia Loveridge began playing the violin at the age of four. By age 11, she was performing in Jack Ashton’s Young Artists Chamber Program, and by 14, she was one of the youngest musicians welcomed into the Utah Youth Symphony Orchestra. Annalicia played in the first violin section for the next five years. Those years of rehearsing under the direction of Barbara Scowcroft at the University of Utah were fundamental in her inspiration and dedication to the art of fine music-making.
Annalicia actively competes in local and international competitions. Her most recent activities include her Carnegie Hall debut at the Weill Recital Hall (December 2023) where she performed the Brahms Piano Trio No. 3 in C Minor with Maren Daynes (piano) and Noah Guzmán (cello). She was the first place winner in the "College Students and Professional Musicians" category of the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition (2023). In addition to these competitions, Anna was the second place winner in the Charleston International Winter Chamber Music Competition (2023), and has been a finalist in the ASTA Chamber Music Competition (2021 & 2023) and the Utah Valley University Student Solo Competition (2022).
Annalicia had her international solo debut performance with the Vidin Symphony Orchestra at the International Musicians Academy in Vidin, Bulgaria in 2022, where she played the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor and Wieniawski Violin Concerto No. 2 in D Minor under the direction of Ovidiu Marinescu.
Annalicia's private instructors have included M. Judd Sheranian of the Utah Symphony, David Park, and Donna P. Fairbanks. She currently studies at Utah Valley University on an Exceptional Performance scholarship with Professor Donna Fairbanks.
Caitlyn Curry began studying the viola at the age of six, under the impression that it was a cello, but grew to love the viola for its rich tone and unique qualities! By playing in numerous orchestras and community productions as a youth, Caitlyn developed a love for music that would inspire her to study viola performance at a higher level.
Today, Caitlyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Utah State University where she studied with Bradley Ottesen. Her time at USU presented her with opportunities to play in the USU Symphony Orchestra, perform in masterclasses for acclaimed violists, and travel to summer music festivals. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Performance and Pedagogy under the guidance of Julie Edwards at the University of Utah.
As a chamber musician, Caitlyn has studied extensively under the Fry Street Quartet and quickly grew to love this genre of music. She has performed in chamber recitals, premiered a piece by Junyoon Wie that was commissioned for the Caine Quartet, and was a winner of the 2021 ASTA chamber music competition as a member of the Synchrony Quartet. As a coach for a chamber music program in Logan Utah, she enjoyed sharing her love for chamber music by coaching young quartets and developing projects to bring chamber musicians together within the community.
