Rebecca Dalgleish

Violin I

Rebecca's journey with the violin began at the tender age of three, under the guidance of Kathrine Kunz in Salt Lake City. By twelve, she was studying with University of Utah's esteemed professor, Dr. Hasse Borup, which further solidified her dedication to music.

Rebecca pursued her passion for violin performance at Utah Valley University, where she earned a full scholarship and a Bachelor of Arts degree. During her collegiate years, she received private instruction from Dr. Donna Fairbanks and Dr. Kasia Sokol-Borup. Rebecca's leadership and technical abilities gave her the opportunity to serve as concertmaster for both the Utah Valley University Chamber Orchestra and UVU Symphony under the direction of Dr. Cheung Chau.

In addition to her performance career, Rebecca has a deep commitment to music education. She began teaching at fourteen and now runs a thriving music studio with over 50 private students, offering lessons in violin, viola, and piano.

Outside of music, Rebecca enjoys being outdoors, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.
